Africa. The mere mention of its name evokes images of the Savannah where the “big five”, the five animals that most represent the fauna of the continent, roam freely. Occupying these positions are the leopard, the lion, the elephant, the buffalo and the rhinoceros, creatures that you will no doubt encounter on your trip to Kenya, as the photo safari is the country’s top attraction. The spectacular African sunsets, short - but intensely red, compete for attention with the beaches of Zanzibar, an island belonging to Tanzania, established as the perfect compliment to a Kenyan safari. An adventure where you will also learn about the Swahili culture and the Maasai people, which will doubtless evoke scenes from Karen Blixen's famous Out of Africa.
“‘Lake Naivasha was exceptional. Stunning scenery with the animals outside the rooms. Hippos came out in the night which stopped us walking back to the rooms alone. The security guard kindly escorted us back to the room and spotted out the hippos to us. It was an exciting experience. The food there was very nice too.’
“'All hotels had excellent staff and food was brilliant. James the driver on safari, did a very good job’
