You will need a visa to enter Ethiopia. You have two options for getting your visa:

1. You can obtain one upon arrival at Bole International Airport

2. You can obtain an Ethiopian tourist e-visa prior to departure (valid for 30 days only) from: https://www.evisa.gov.et/#/home

Not included:

Visa (in arrival or e-visa valid for 30 days: cost approximately $52) entrances, drinks, tips and any other services not mentioned in what's included.

    Passport with a minimum of six months validity.
  • Visa*:
    A visa is required to enter the country.
  • Currency:
    Ethiopian Birr
  • Language:
    Amharic is the official language in Ethipoia, although many tribal languages are spoken in the country such as Oromo and Galla.
  • Electricity:
    220 V. Adapter required.
  • Health:
    There are no mandatory vaccinations for travellers from EU countries.
  • Time zone:
    UTC + 03:00.
