*Visit the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. Enjoy the panoramic view of Huaca Huallamarca and visit the Sant Domingo Convent. Walk through Plaza Mayor which is surrounded by Arzobispal palace, the metropolitan municipality and the cathedral. Stop to try a traditional Pisco Sour. Finally, visit the the Larco museum whose artefacts display more than 3000 years of Pre-Columbian history. Overnight stay.
Breakfast* at the hotel. Take a flight from Lima’s airport to Juliaca. Arrival to Juliaca and transfer to Puno. Overnight stay in Puno.
* Please note: if you have an early morning flight from Lima, your breakfast will be packed for you to have on the journey. Early morning passengers will be able to check-in upon arrival at the hotel in Puno to rest
Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to Taquile and Uros island. Depart to Taquile island - Taquille has remnants of the past which date back to pre-Inca times. The islanders are famous for their beautiful clothing, their incredible knits, and textile industry. Next, visit the community of Huayllano, on the same island, where the locals show their traditional crafts and agriculture. Lunch. Visit the islands of Uros situated in the middle of the national reserve of Lake Titicaca. Transfer to hotel. Overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Puno station to take a bus to Cuzco. Leave the station and start your journey on the bus to Puno and enjoy the marvelous landscapes of the South Valley of Cuzco. Visit Andahuaylas, the beautiful church of 17th century, featuring an impressive organ decorated with angels and cherubs. Later on, visit the ruins of Racqui, also known as the ´Temple of the God Wiracocha and have lunch. Discover La Raya, the highest point on the highway between Cuzco and Puno for amazing views of the landscape. Arrival in Cuzco and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the train station of Cuzco. Your adventure starts onboard the Expedition train heading towards Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, head to Machu Picchu for an unforgettable experience. Once in Machu Picchu, you will be able to cover each corner of this seventh wonder of the world, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Return to the town of Aguas Calientes for lunch. Rest of the day is free. Dinner and overnight stay.*
*Please note: for your overnight stay in Aguas Calientes, you will leave your main suitcases and baggage at the hotel in Cuzco and you are permitted to take only a small overnight rucksack or bag for the journey to Machu Picchu on the Expedition train.

*Begin the day at Chinchero, a small picturesque town home to the important archeological Inca site, constructed in the final years of the decade of 1400, a beautiful and traditional church. Visit “Urpi” a famous textile centre, where the town people have conserved the Andean spinning techniques of knitting. Visit Ollantaytambo a fort which also served as a temple.
On your way to Ollantaytambo, stop by Racchi viewpoint for a stunning picturesque photographic opportunity. Afterwards, continue towards the town adjacent to Ollantaytambo, “the only alive Inca town” which hasn’t been inhabited since the 13th century.
Breakfast at the hotel. You are free to spend the day at your leisure and explore the former Capital of the Incas.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport and catch a flight to Bogota, Colombia. Bogota is a sprawling, high-altitude capital, with charming cobbled streets and a lively atmosphere. Transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring this beautiful city. Overnight stay
Breakfast at the hotel. Half day visit to the historic centre known as La Candelaria. This antiquated part of the Bogota features old “stately homes” and large colonial buildings. Visit the Plaza de Bolivar. The Cathedral, on the eastern side of the plaza, houses an important collection of ancient religious artefacts. The Capitol building around the Plaza de Bolivar is also home to the Palacio de Justicia, the 'Palace of Justice' and the oldest school in the country. Explore the Botero Museum , a colonial house filled with art by Fernando Botero and also pieces by Picasso, and the Museo del Oro which has a permanent exhibition of 32,000 ancient pieces of gold, 20,000 stones, ceramics and textiles all precious to ancient pre-Colombian cultures. The afternoon is at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Translate to the airport for a flight to Armenia, a lush coffee-growing region located in the mountainous western part of Colombia and framed by the Andes mountains. Transfer to your hotel and overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the coffee plantations, typical of this region, in Morelia. Discover lush green coffee plants that spread out as far as the horizon interrupted only by traditional fincas and heliconia flowers. The visit continues on to one of the coffee haciendas for an insight into the production system. Learn about the harvest, sun drying and the volcanic soil which is perfect for this crop. Learn about coffee, its preparation, toasting, the characteristics of quality and the properties that allow for a variety of flavours. The tour ends with delicious coffee tasting before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay and evening at your leisure.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport to take a direct flight to Cartagena. Upon arrival, transfer and check in at the hotel. Cartagena sits on the coast and is one of the main ports in Colombia. It is becoming increasingly up-and-coming and has a plethora of quirky bars and eateries and is home to colourful streets and leafy plazas. Overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today discover the city’s colonial district on a fascinating afternoon tour, starting in Bolivar Park, shaded by large trees and with four fountains the park has a statue of the Great Liberator at its centre. Around the square is the Gold Museum, which exhibits a fine collection of archaeological objects dating back to the pre-hispanic period; and the Inquisition Palace, recognized for its large baroque style door. The Inquisition held its meetings here and it was also the prison and torture chambers of presumed heretics and opponents of the Catholic Church. The visit continues to the Santo Domingo Church and the Cathedral. Free afternoon. Overnight stay.
