Arrive at your UK departure airport, ready to board a flight to Amman. Arrive at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay. Amman is the modern capital of Jordan but possesses dozens of ancient historical sites, all set in the north of Jordan on a hillside. Overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, embark on an included tour and visit the Mosaic city of Madaba; where the oldest map of the Holy Land exists on the floor of Saint George’s Church. Continue to visit Mount Nebo; the alleged burial site of Moses overlooking the Jordan Valley and the vast Dead Sea. Here Franciscans have built a structure that protects a 4th and 6th Century Byzantine church. Journey on to Kerak for a panoramic photo stop before visiting Shobak Castle; built in 1115. It successfully resisted a number of sieges until it fell to Saladin's troops in 1189. Come back and transfer to Petra. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Enjoy an included full day visit of Petra; a city carved into the rose-red Sharah Mountains by the Nabateans and lost to Civilization until re-discovered by the Swiss Burkhardt. Walk through the Siq, a narrow and winding fissure between the cliffs, to reach the Treasury, the Roman Theater, the Courts, Qasr Bint Pharaoun, Temple of the Winged Lion and other monuments. Return to the hotel for Dinner and overnight stay.

Take a short drive from Petra to Little Petra & Beidah and walk through 8,000 year old excavated stone-age village and wander among the ruins of settlements of the biblical Edomites and explore the sprawling remains of the Roman legionary fortress at Udruh. Continue to Wadi Rum in the desert and its awesome moon-like landscape, where the film “Lawrence of Arabia” was shot. Enjoy a 2 hour included jeep safari. Come back to Wadi Rum. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Enjoy a leisurely afternoon for swimming at Dead Sea Spa Hotel with entrance fees included. Continue to Iraq Al Amir; the Hellenistic ruins of Qaser El-Abd. Arrive at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Amman.
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart in the morning on an included tour to visit Jerash; the best-preserved example of Roman civilization, which features theatres, churches, temples, a Nymphaeum and collonaded streets. Proceed to visit Ajloun; the 12th Century Castle which was built by Saladin in his successful campaign to drive the Crusaders from Jordan in 1189 and is an outstanding example of Arab/Islamic military architecture. Dinner and overnight stay in Amman.

It is now known as the White City due to the white stone used to build its’ houses. Discover the Roman Theatre, Citadel, Folklore & Archeological Museum and The Jordan museum. Continue on to Al Salt City, tightly built on a cluster of three hills, As-Salt has several other places of interest Typically, the buildings here have domed roofs, interior courtyards, and characteristic tall, arched windows. Perhaps the most beautiful is the Abu Jaber mansion which has frescoed ceilings, painted by Italian artists. Be transferred to the airport to check in for a flight to Cairo. Arrive at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay.

Visit the Theban Necropolis, including the famous Valley of the Kings, the panoramic view of the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut in Deir Al Bahari, unique for its large stepped terraces, the temple of Medinet Habu of Ramses III and the Colossi of Memnon, which kept the entrance to the funerary temple of King Amenophis III. Sail towards Edfu crossing and the Esna lock. Night on board.
Full board included. Today, visit the amazing Edfu Temple. This temple is dedicated to the God Hawk Horus and is the best preserved in Egypt as well as being the second largest in the country. Continue to Kom Ombo. In Kom Ombo, you will also visit the Nilometer, used by the ancient Egyptians to measure the level of the Nile waters. After the visit, return to the ship and sail to Aswan. Night on board.

Today, visit the High Dam; It is an enormous engineering work that holds the waters of the Nile River, creating Lake Nasser and visit the Red Granite Quarry, where the famous Unfinished Obelisk, forty-one metres high, and where you can see the ingenious procedure used by the ancient Egyptians for the extraction of granite blocks. In the afternoon there is a walk along the river in the typical fishing boats, called "feluccas". Night on board.
