Breakfast at the Hotel. Set off on a Half day city tour of Muscat. The visit includes Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, and Bait Al Zubair Museum, which showcases Omani heritage with a vast collection of antiques and history of both the urban and rural communities of Oman. Explore Old Muscat, surrounded by steep mountains and flanked by the twin 16th century Jalali and Mirani forts, Stop at Muttrah, the main port area and explore the ancient Souk, the perfect place to pick up an authentic souvenir. Breakfast at the hotel.Set off for Quriyat, a small coastal fishing village and proceed to Tiwi and Fins home to beautiful white sandy beaches where you can enjoy a swim in the turquoise waters. The journey then continues on the graded track to Wadi Shab, one of Oman's most spectacular wadis, flowing with fresh water most of the year alongside banana plantations and rocky paths. Continue on the coastal road to Ras Al Hadd for an overnight stay. After dinner, visit Ras al Jynz, a protected Green turtle nesting reserve. After breakfast, journey to Wadi Bani Khalid, the evergreen wadi situated in the vast desert and adorned with cascading waterfalls. The journey continues to Wahaiba Sands, one of the most fascinating and mysterious regions of Oman. The area is home to mighty sand dunes which host an array of exotic flora and fauna. Take a camel ride for an authentic experience of life in the desert and enjoy dinner under the stars and an overnight stay in the camp.
Breakfast at the camp. Proceed to Nizwa said to be the birthplace of Islam in the Sultanate of Oman. Nizwa boasts of the famous Round Tower Fort and a famous cattle auction Souk. Visit Jabrin, the finest of Oman’s castles built in the late 17th century. It has fascinating ceiling murals which showcase the vibrant stories of days gone by. Overnight at Hotel.
